Description
Through a darkly romantic lens, Shannon Koszyk’s creations observe another time and place in history. Artisanal gothic anthropology is the best way to describe her provocative interpretation of ancient symbolism and nouveau art.
After years of working alone, Shannon realized she needed to take her brand to the next level, so she hired me. MosaicMinds strengthened the brand to match more of the identified customer base. 80% of Shannon’s customers buy her products to inspire trust and a sense of an upgraded lifestyle. 70% of these customers are women between the ages of 45-64
Many of Shannon’s customers are married, college educated, Caucasian, and own spacious suburban homes, or exclusive downtown condominiums. They typically work in creative industries, such as Sales & Marketing, Technology, Real Estate, Art & Design and belong to upper class incomes ranging from $100k-$750k. They are interested in the luxury side of life, favour name brands and lavish garments made of velvets, silk, linen, lace, and satin materials predominantly in black, white & neutral colors.
Solution
This concept represents old-world artisanal craftsmanship with a little bit of history. Inspired by colors in white and bronze along with linen fabrics & leather with a hint of European Vintage.

THE PROCESS
Discovery & Research
Multiple sessions with the client were conducted, following research on Shannon’s current customer demographic analysis. This helped reveal Shannon’s Buyer Persona which dictated our approach for the brand personality.
Design
Once the Discovery phase was complete, we explored visual design option sketches to establish a solid and coherent identity design.
Presentation
After sketches and brand personality was concluded, a brand mood board and mock ups were crafted to show Shannon how it all comes together.
Production & Execution
When the right design is finalized, then the next steps are to create any visual communication touch-points or collateral following the new established brand guidelines. This can be anything from business cards, website, catalogs or look books, social media ads or trunk show signage.
